Description
Playaakun is a private ecological remote estate that sits in the unspoilt environment of Sian Ka’an Biosphere, a Unesco world heritage protected reserve. Its location is ideal for seclusion, sitting on a pristine Caribbean beach surrounded by coconut palms and lush vegetation. In front of you is the Caribbean Sea with a stunning coral reef 100m out. Behind you is a calm and serene natural lagoon – all of this is within a private estate.
The villa comes with direct access to its own private beach, large decked area and infinity swimming pool. A large roof terrace with unlimited views and huge outside living areas. Indoors consists of a large open plan living space that looks out over the dunes and the magnificent pristine beach.

- A $1,000 USD food deposit is required at check-in

- Check-in is anytime after 3:00PM and check out by 12:00 PM
- All credit card holders must be aged 25 years and older at check-in
- A 5% service charge on the food and service bill will be collected onsite at the end of the guest’s stay
- This is an eco- conscious villa and as such the air-conditioning is limited to 12 hours of usage during the evenings (9pm – 9am)
- No trash paper or any kind of trash is to be thrown into the toilets as the house uses an ecological drainage system. There will be a penalty of $5,000 USD if the drainage system is damaged during the guests stay
**The villa is built and functioning in a sustainable and ecological manner, as per rules and regulations of the UNESCO natural reserve. We will buy the Sian Ka’an park entrance tickets in advance, which are $5 USD per person per day and will add to your bill for the end of the stay.
***Please note, due to Sian Ka’an being a protected reserve, it is not permitted to bring external ATVs, water sports equipment such as kiteboards, or audio equipment. It is also forbidden to fish, in order to protect the endangered sea life. Additionally, pets are not allowed.
Penalties for noncompliance may apply.
Please be aware that, due to warming weather and fluctuating ocean currents, the Riviera Maya may experience the presence of naturally occurring seaweed during the hotter months of the year.
